The Bosch Engineering Centre of Budapest has been established in 2005. Today, it is a major research and development hub within the Bosch world focusing on the big mobility trends: automated, electrified and connected mobility. More than 2700 engineers are working together on complex automotive products within various fields of engineering from software to mechanical and hardware product development. Your ideas will be part of products improving the life across the globe.
Work at the AE/EEL department is centered around electronic control unit development that encompasses complete product life-cycles from concept through design to series production support. Our product portfolio covers a wide range of products including batteries, the boost and recuperation machine, the electric air compressor for hydrogen fuel cell drives, and the charger-converter for electric cars. In the core development teams, members from virtually all domains of automotive engineering e.g. HW, system, mechanics, test, safety and reliability work together, and are supported by a network of senior experts.
Play an independent and integral role in the development of High Voltage HW modules with primary focus on the control and drive electronics for an electric air compressor for hydrogen fuel cell drives.
You will be a member of the multi-disciplinary 48V and HV Electronics Project House that has been created to advance the development of products for mild hybrid and high voltage electronic systems.
Currently, the primary focuses are the HW, system and mechanical development of 48V batteries and drives, air compressor for hydrogen fuel cell drives, HV chargers, and the series support of the current products.
Your tasks will be mainly related to the development of hardware modules for the electric air compressor for hydrogen fuel cell drives. Since one of the many advantages of the Project House is the facilitation of synergies and resource sharing between projects and products, you are going to contribute your skills and expertise to the development of key components of the new 48V performance battery as well.
Our group has 19 members – HW engineers, senior experts, and project leaders - and is very diverse having associates from four different countries. We are going through a rapid evolution and expansion to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the electrification of the automotive industry.
