Job Description
The Automotive Electronics (AE) division develops new electronic control units (e.g. for combustion engines, comfort functions, airbags) and a wide range of sensors (e.g. for battery charge state, inertial, yaw-rate, pressure, NOx) in close cooperation with manufacturing. These products are engineered to a state of the art level both in technology and reliability and are to be found in cars of a very large group of manufacturers.
► Mechanical design of automotive components based on customer specifications
► Creating models and drawings in CAD systems
► Performing mechanical and structural stress calculations
► Documentation of design and development processes
► Supporting quality insurance with FMEA and DRBFM tools
► Bsc/Msc in mechanical engineering
► Experience in 3D CAD modelling
► High level of precision
► Good communication skills
► Ability to work independently
► English and/or German knowledge skills
► Experience in the automotive industry
