Job Description

The Powertrain Solutions division develops and manufactures innovative technologies for the entire powertrain in the market segments of Electrification, Passenger Cars, Commercial Vehicles and Off-Highway.

With our trend-setting and innovative mobility concepts, we are a preferred worldwide partner for innovative solutions and dynamically contribute to the change in mobility. Doing so, we help our customers to significantly reduce their costs, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Your contribution to something big:

► Responsibility for project leading of mechanical engineering projects of power electric units for electric and hybrid vehicle
► Product responsible series developer from mechanical engineering.
► Responsibility of mechanical design FMEA’s and other product documentations.
► Responsibility for regular information sharing with overall project leader and sub-project leaders (Series production, Change management, HW, SW, etc.)
► Responsibility for preparation and actualization of documentation.
► Coordinate the introduction of upcoming mechanical changes during the series production phase.
► Represent mechanical engineering during negotiation with customers
► Preparation of resource plans for mechanical sub-projects and RPP-projects.
► Preparation and validation of budget plans and time schedules for mechanical sub-projects and RPP projects.
► Organize and arrange regular SE teams, coordinate the development activities of mechanical sub projects
► To support RPP activities, participating in workshops and leading RPP mechanical projects.
► Preparation of risk assessments and communicating them to higher management and customers
► Support design engineers during negotiations with supplier.
► Coordinate and support 8D’s, DRBFM’s and other problem solving methods.

What distinguishes you:

► BSc or MSc degree in mechanical engineering, technical manager or comparable
► Experience in project management in automotive field
► Ability to lead development team for series production
► Good coordination and communication skills
► Ability to work independently
► Ability to manage concurrent tasks
► Ability to gain an overview efficiently on complex technical content
► Structured working method
► Willingness to travel
► Process and quality orientation
► Fluent English or German and Hungarian language skills
