Role Purpose

Our Hungarian entity as part of a Global Group working in the lighting industry is looking for an ambitious self-motivated candidate who is looking for a challenging environment. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduated candidate to join a Global organization currently expanding its operations in Hungary.

Currently we are looking for our new Financial Assistant, who will be responsible for the AP tasks of incoming inventory purchase invoices from China and Europe, control with purchase orders and booking on the relevant GL accounts of the Hungarian entity – which is the principal of the EMEA region.

As a new member of the Finance team, you will be also responsible to manage the inventory and freight suppliers, including day-to-day communication with them and preparation of the payment runs.

Key Responsibilities

Process multi-currency invoices for inventory and expenses
Reconcile supplier statements
Resolves queries with both external suppliers and internal customers
Assist with the payment of invoices
Support the Accounts Payable team and other finance areas with administration duties

Person specification and background

Excellent Microsoft Office skills, mostly in Excel
Strong communication skills. Confident telephone manner
Excellent English and Hungarian is a must (both in oral and written), other European language are advantageous
Methodical approach to tasks with strong attention to detail
Excellent administration skills
Ability to prioritise to meet strict deadlines
BA degree in Accountancy is an advantage, but not required
0.5-1 year experience in a finance field is an advantage but not required

Starting salary: brutto 450.000 Ft
