The KBC Services and Infrastructure division (SIN) decided on a nearshore HR strategy based on 2 locations: the core internal workforce is based in Belgium and in Hungary. Therefore not only our services are international, but also our teams.
Our responsibilities range from day-to-day operation to application development and its operation.
We are constantly expanding the Hungarian side of the team, which is why we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated new employees with junior, medior or possibly senior work experience.
As an engineer of the AH (Application Hosting) team you will often be the ‘face’ of underlying infrastructure services, so a customer-centric mindset, good communication skills and some level of diplomacy is crucial.
From a process point of view, we are mainly active in the change/release, incident/problem, DRP/BCM processes and play an instrumental role in operating, evolving and testing these processes. Besides the changes and releases, the AH team also participates in various projects ranging from migrating entire banks to setting up completely new applications. As the AH teams are maintaining infrastructure services for business critical ‘24/7’ applications, some aspects of the work need to happen outside business hours or during the weekend. We are also running a 24/7 on-call duty to which you will be added once you have reached the required expertise/environmental knowledge levels to operate more independently.

Technical expertise
The job of a TAM engineer is very diverse, spreading across a wide array of technical skills/expertise. We don’t expect all engineers to master all below aspects in depth (from the start), but as a team we support each other and continuously evolve our individual skills through peer-learning.
